Ajay Sah, a junior and Nepalese International student at Drew University, was last seen Tuesday, Jan. 19 exiting the NJ Transit train in New York Penn Station, according to a GoFundMe launched by his brother, Shiva Sah.

“We are devastated and struggling to find funds to cover the cost of all legal as well as private services necessary to help find Ajay,” reads the fundraiser, which had garnered nearly $16,000 as of Thursday afternoon.

The proceeds will also be used to raise public awareness and help Sah’s parents with airfare and accommodations as they travel to the States.

“Please be a part of this journey to help find Ajay Sah,” reads the fundraiser.

Sah has black hair, dark brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with a gray hoodie and Khakis, according to the GoFundMe, which has been flooded with supportive comments from friends and colleagues.

“He is someone’s child, someone’s brother, someone’s friend,” one donor commented. “Because he is loved and is a child of God. I pray for his safe return.”

Anyone with information about Sah’s whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Ryan Dunn of the Madison Police department at 973-593-3000.
